                              Meet our chef, Dean Schmitz ~

                              A native to Milwaukee, Dean brings over 30 years of culinary experience and passion to Timmer's.

                              While Head Chef at Andrew's in the Delafield Hotel, Dean earned a 3 1/2 star rating from Dennis Getto, a well respected Restaurant Critic with the Milwaukee Journal.  As Head Chef at The Black Trumpet, he earned a 3 star rating from Milwaukee Journal's dining critic, Carol Deptolla. 

                              In February of 2011, Dean's cooking talent was awarded a 3 1/2 star rating from Carol Deptolla here at Timmer's Resort, and in December of 2011, Ms. Deptolla recognized Timmer's as one of 2011's BEST NEW RESTAURANT'S.

                              Dean's cooking Philosophy is to use locally grown ingredients as much as possible and classic cooking techniques with a modern flare and bold flavors.

                              Dean is an incredibly talented chef with a true passion for the food he creates and we are honored he has chosen to be a part of our family at Timmer's Resort.
