Meet our new Chef: Dean Schmitz, a native to Milwaukee brings over 30 years of culinary experience and passion to Timmer's.
While Head Chef at Andrew's in the Delafield Hotel, Dean earned a 3.5 star rating from Dennis Getto, a well respected Restaurant Critic with the Milwaukee Journal. As Head Chef at The Black Trumpet, he earned a 3 star rating from Milwaukee Journal's dining critic, Carol Deptolla.
Dean's cooking Philosophy is to use locally grown ingredients as much as possible and classic cooking techniques with a modern flare and bold flavors.
Dean is an incredibly talented chef with a true passion for the food he creates and we are honored he has chosen to be a part of our family at Timmer's Resort.
